As a longtime member of the Community I enjoy the vibe of a small town. I received my cosmetology license here locally in 1995. I specialize in cutting and coloring, but enjoy all aspects of my craft.
Born and raised in Coos Bay, Oregon. I began my career locally at 2nd Street Studio in 2012, and now at Spa Culture. I offer acrylic and gel nails, along with pedicures and shellac polish.
Raised in North Bend I began to venture out and explore. Landing in Portland I began my career in Cosmetology. We decided to raise our three boys in our home town and so our new adventure began on the coast. I am happy to be at Spa CULTURE, enjoying the opportunity to use my skills applying new techniques and staying current in my craft.
I moved to North Bend in 2006. I worked in the medical field for 7 years and decided I needed a change of pace. So I decided to enroll at the local beauty college. After working in a local salon for a couple years as a receptionist while attending SOCC for nursing/paramedic I got my inspiration to pursue nails and esthetics.
I began my career in 1997 as a licensed aesthetician. I became an instructor of advanced techniques which lead me to today. I offer designer peels, resurfacers, microdermabrasion, microcurrent and waxing. My treatments are bio-targeted to each person’s needs and goals resulting in an evolving approach to treatments. Skincare with a !!WOW!! factor is my thing.
I moved to Coos Bay two years ago and I enjoy this area. I had the opportunity to attend both Dee Le Von School of Massage in Coquille and Lane Community; which has given me an expanded knowledge in the field I love.
I have 6 yrs experience in the Nail Industry, holding licenses as a Nail Technician, Nail educator and Esthetician. Beginning my education at SWOCC for business management, and then pursuing nail education and Esthetics at Portland Beauty Academy. Then extended education through Light Elegance , an Oregon based company. I am a coos county native and mother of three boys; volunteering in local schools, business forums, and local Surfrider Chapter.
To stay progressive and creative in the nail industry, I am dedicated to continuing education and networking with other nail technicians. And I spend time shadowing a local podiatrist in order to accommodate elderly clients with neuropathy, diabetes, and other conditions affiliated with the feet. Services performed are Pedicures, Hard gel, Gel polish and Acrylics, nail repairs and nail art.
I have been working in the beauty industry since 2009. I went to the Phagans cosmetology school in Newport, OR.
I specialize in color and haircuts for women and men. I use Goldwell color, while also retailing Moroccan Oil and Verb products.
I first knew I wanted to be a cosmetologist after going on a field trip with my bluebird/ girl scout group when I was six years old; I couldn’t wait to get started. Finally, after my junior year of high school was able to start North Bend College of Hair and Beauty school in 1988. My life has been a journey. The best part of it has always been helping people to love their hair. I love people and I love my work, even after all these years!
I have practiced Massage since 1996 in conjunction with many health practitioners With background in rehabilitation I am skilled in many techniques I use to care for your individual needs.
